The site at coursely.co.il, shown under the name Coursely, is operated by the party identified below (the "operator"). Browsing the site, opening an account, publishing a course, or buying access to a course is agreement to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
"Site" means coursely.co.il and the services provided through it.
"User" means anyone who browses the site or opens an account.
"Student" means a user who buys access to a course, or who receives access to a free course.
"Instructor" means a user who has turned on an instructor account and publishes a course.
"Course" means a paid recorded course, a free course made of external links, or a live session, as offered on the site.
"Content" means video, text, slides, files, reels, links, and descriptions that an instructor uploads or links.
Coursely is a marketplace that connects instructors and students. The operator provides the site, the account, the course page, playback, and the payment page. The course itself, its content, and what is said in it or about it belong to the instructor.
The operator is not a party to the teaching and does not promise that a course will fit a particular purpose, produce a particular result, or be available without interruption. The first publication of a recorded or free course may be reviewed. A live session that meets the publishing requirements goes live without that review, and it is not listed in the site's general catalog.
Registration is by email and password, or with Google when that option is open. You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in details confidential. The account is personal.
A student account can be turned into an instructor account from the site. A purchase can also be made as a guest; in that case an account is opened, or an existing account is matched, so the course can be delivered.
The operator may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, or if the account is used in a way that harms the site, other users, or a third party.
The instructor states that the content is theirs, or that they have a licence to distribute it on the site, and that publishing it does not infringe copyright, privacy, or any other law. Before sending a course to be published, the instructor confirms this on the site and agrees to indemnify the operator against a claim or demand arising from content they added.
Ownership of the content stays with the instructor or with the rights holder. The instructor gives the operator a non-exclusive licence, with no extra royalty, to host the content, display it, copy it as needed to run the site (including transcoding and storage with the video host), sell access to it, and show a short part of it as a sample lesson or a reel. The licence lasts while the course is stored on the site, and, for a student who bought access, also for as long as that access is provided.
These terms do not require exclusivity. The instructor may offer the same material outside the site.
The instructor is responsible for the accuracy of the description, the price they set, holding a live session at the published time, and the service they offer their students, including a WhatsApp group if they attached a link to one.
The operator may refuse to publish a course, remove it, or limit how it is distributed, including if it breaks these terms or the law, or if a rights complaint is received.
The price is the amount in New Israeli Shekels shown at the time of purchase. A coupon that is entered and accepted changes the price according to its terms. Buying a live session is registration for that session, subject to the start time and to the number of seats if a limit was set.
After payment is confirmed, access to the course opens on the account. A lesson marked as a sample may be open without an account. A live-session link and a WhatsApp group link are not shown on the public page. They open only for someone who has access to the course, and, for a live session, only inside the time window set on the site.
The instructor sees the student's name, email address, and the phone number given on the payment page, in order to provide the service.
Payment is made on a payment page of an external payment provider, operated for the site. The operator does not store credit-card details. An approved charge is recorded as an order, and access to the course opens. A failed charge does not open access.
A platform commission is deducted from the amount paid, at the rate in force at the time of the sale: the site's general rate, or the rate in an agreement with the instructor if one is in effect. The rate may differ between a sale attributed to the instructor (their referral link, their coupon, or a purchase card they embedded) and a sale attributed to the site. The remainder is credited to the instructor.
An actual transfer to the instructor is made by the operator against the recorded balance, using the payment details the instructor saved on the account. These terms do not set a transfer date, a minimum amount, or a promise that the rate will stay unchanged.
A purchase on the site is a distance transaction under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (the "Law"), and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of a Transaction), 5771-2010. Nothing in these terms waives a right that cannot be waived under the law.
A course whose access is to digital content — recorded lessons, files, and information delivered by computer — is offered as a transaction for "information" as defined in the Computers Law, 5755-1995. Under section 14C of the Law, the distance-transaction cancellation right does not apply to a transaction for that information. Where that rule applies to the purchase, there is no duty to cancel only because the student changed their mind after access opened.
A live session is a service to be provided at a set time. A student may cancel the purchase under section 14C of the Law within 14 days of the transaction or of receiving the disclosure document, whichever is later, provided the cancellation is made at least two days that are not days of rest before the session. A senior citizen, a new immigrant, or a person with a disability who is entitled under the Law may use the extended cancellation period the Law provides, including a period of four months where it applies, on the conditions set in the Law.
A cancellation notice must be sent in writing to the contact email at the top of this page. A cancellation fee, where the dealer may charge one, will not exceed 5% of the transaction price or 100 New Israeli Shekels, whichever is lower. No cancellation fee is charged where the Law forbids it, including cancellation for non-delivery, a defect, a material mismatch with the published details, or another breach. Where a refund is due, it is returned within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, by the same means of payment where that is possible.
The instructor or the operator may also approve a full refund of an item, or of the remaining amount of an order, through the refund tools on the site, beyond what the law requires. A refund of an item is for its full price. The site does not refund part of a single item's price. An approved refund is sent through the payment provider and ends access to that course, including access through the site to the session link and the WhatsApp group. Removing someone from the WhatsApp group itself is not done through the site.
Do not upload content that infringes rights, incites, is abusive, or that you have no right to distribute. Do not share an account, copy a means of access, bypass a viewing limit, collect information from the site by automated means, or interfere with its operation.
Do not pass on a session link or a WhatsApp group link that you received because you bought a course. Access to a course is personal and is not transferable, unless the law requires otherwise.
The site and the courses are provided as they are. The operator is not responsible for content an instructor published, for external links (including YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Zoom, or WhatsApp), for the availability of a payment provider or a video host, or for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damage, to the extent the law allows that responsibility to be limited.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited under the law, including responsibility under the Consumer Protection Law where it applies, and nothing here removes a remedy the law does not allow to be removed.
How personal information is used is described in the site's privacy policy. The privacy policy applies alongside these terms.
These terms are governed only by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
The operator may update these terms. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page, and a material change will be published on the site. Continued use after an update takes effect is agreement to the updated text. A purchase completed before the update remains subject to the consumer law that applies to it.
Notices under these terms, including a cancellation notice, should be sent to:
